Background

Following school and college, I spent two years in America teaching sports in the New York State area.

I was lucky enough to have lived in Manhattan and took the opportunity to travel through North and South America throughout that period.

On returning to the UK, I decided that a career in financial services was the way forward and took up a role as Financial Consultant with the Prudential. I joined Blake Independent in 2000 and now work with every aspect of the financial market.

Qualifications

I hold my Financial Planning Certificates - FPI, FPII and FPIII.

Area of expertise

I offer advice on all areas of financial planning. This includes investments, mortgages, protection, pensions, estate planning and other associated areas of the industry.

About me

I live with Lucy and my daughter Lily in the village of Scholes near Holmfirth and devote my spare time to having fun with the family, making the most of holidays and days out together. We regularly visit a house in Andalusia and we enjoy our times there immensely.

I do have other diversions, as I have a passion for sport of all kinds and I come from a great sporting family.

In the summer months I play cricket for a team in the Huddersfield League and in winter I still attempt to play football. My sporting activities over the years have allowed me to meet a whole host of interesting people with whom I have many long term friendships.
